The staff at Atlantic Dentistry wants your initial visit as a new patient to be simple, convenient and enjoyable. We are unlike any other dental facility you have visited in the past. We take our patient satisfaction very seriously and want you to have a rewarding experience. We have modernized our office to help you enjoy the comforts of home while receiving the best oral care possible.
Our team wants to make your check-in process as quick as possible on your first and every future visit. We provide you the opportunity to fill out the new patient forms online at your convenience. Once you arrive at the office, we will enter your demographic information and insurance information. In addition to these steps, we will answer any additional questions you may have. You will then have a seat in our waiting area that features a beverage bar, free Wi-Fi and a children’s play area.
During Your Appointment
One of our friendly staff members will call you back to our patient rooms that are equipped with the latest dental technology. Once in the room, we will start the appointment by taking x-rays of your teeth. After the x-rays are taken, we will look at your gums before starting your dental cleaning. Most patients are able to receive a cleaning during their initial visit.
When our hygienist has finished, Dr. Sebastien Murphy will meet with you and discuss any concerns you may have. He will review your x-rays and do a checkup to determine if anything further needs to be done. If there are concerns, Dr. Murphy will discuss this with you and suggest what he feels will help to improve your oral care. Common issues are tooth decay, gum sensitivity or any type of damage to the mouth, gums or teeth.
Dr. Murphy would be happy to discuss his findings with you and answer any questions you may have. You may also ask him about cosmetic or restorative dentistry.
