There are several options to repair a cracked or broken tooth, and it will depend on the extent of damage to the tooth. If you have a small chip, it can be repaired with a filling or with bonding. Bonding is a quick, simple procedure. If a larger portion of the tooth has broken off or cracked, then the tooth may need a dental cap or a crown. These two procedures are a little more involved since more of the tooth needs repair. If a front tooth is cracked or broken, you may be in need of a dental veneer.
